Sharp toys can be a great way to get quality outdoors time with your child. It is both arobic and anarobic at the same time. Which brings up the question… when should you give your child a razor sharp toy?
My answer is that it depends on the size and “killing power” of the sharp toy. Please refer to the chart below for age appropriate guidlines:
Thumb Tack — age 4
Pocket Knife — age 6
Switch Blade — age 8 1/2
Small Hatchet — age 10
Two-handed Sword (shown) — age 12
These are general guidelines and please use your own discretion.
