I’m often asked at what age should a child have a pet. My answer is simple yet complex.
The complex part of my answer is looking straight into the person’s eyes and screaming “you can’t own a pet… you can’t own a living being… you can’t tame the wild nature of nature itself!”
The simple part of the when a child should have a pet question is age 9 or 10.
